"Several songs from Eggy’s Waiting Game inspired the concept for this project. Lyrics often depict the feelings and phenomenon of love and companionship.

Must Come Down has an ethereal, dreamy quality that captures the all consuming emotions of love. To reflect this, I experimented with optical illusion-style perspectives to create a surreal, dream-like atmosphere. I layered two distinct scenes to make the composition feel even more trippy and otherworldly.

In the foreground, you’ll see two angelfish swimming in and out of the frame. Angelfish are a monogamous species that form lifelong bonds. This idea was sparked by the song Shallow Rivers, where two fish seek one another.

The central part of the sketch features a western desert, primarily set at sunrise. However, in the center of the landscape, there is a portal that depicts a view of the desert at night. This scenery was derived from Come Up Slow— two lovebirds are nestled together in a small space, enjoying the company of one another under the night sky. ✨✨
A small space to hide,
